PERSONAL. PRACTICAL. EXPERIENCED.

Raise the ambition.
Bring everyone with you.

The best workshops give singers more than a good day. They leave a choir with fresh ideas, a stronger connection and practical tools to take back into the rehearsal room.

I bring the energy of a performer, the ears of a musical director and the experience of a choir leader. As producer of World Voices Festival and Musical Director of Next Stage Choir, I understand how to challenge singers while making them feel supported and part of something worthwhile.

We shape the session around your ensemble: your repertoire, your experience and the musical or performance challenges you want to address. The aim is to make progress you can hear — and create the confidence to keep developing it.

A workshop built around your singers

  • Vocal freedom, breath and a healthy approach to ensemble singing
  • Blend, balance, listening and a more connected choral sound
  • Musical expression, phrasing and acting through song
  • Stage presence, confidence and communication with an audience
  • Fresh approaches to existing repertoire
  • A shared musical experience that builds energy and connection
Let’s discuss your goals ↗

THE DIFFERENCE EXPERIENCE MAKES

Support with substance.

For your ensemble.

Choirs, schools and vocal groups, with a brief developed around the people in the room.

Practical and musical.

Clear exercises and musical insight that singers and leaders can use after the session.

Ambitious and encouraging.

A supportive environment where singers can experiment, take creative risks and hear new possibilities.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

A few useful answers.

Can you work on our existing repertoire?

Yes. Tell me which pieces you are working on and the challenges you want to address. We can discuss how to make the session relevant to your current programme.

What do you need to quote for a workshop?

Please include your location, choir size, preferred dates, the type of group and what you hope to achieve. If you have a venue or schedule in mind, include those details too.

Do you work with schools and youth ensembles?

Yes. My work includes schools, young performers and adult ensembles. The session’s approach and content are shaped to suit the group.
